You didnt copy over the maps folder then.

Didnt happen to me or a ton of people who have done this. Your stats just got messed up from something else.

Its been happening to a ton of people and it started before L4D was put into L4D2.

Anyways another major update is coming, might have an installer to make this easier.

A fix was found for most of these bugs I just havent updated the tutorial, waiting on Technopath and his batch files.

Made a batch script which uses the symlink feature of Vista and 7 so you don't have to have duplicate copies of the VPK files (once in Left 4 Dead 1 and once in Left 4 Dead 2).
Just extract zip in left 4 dead 2\left4dead2 folder and run.

Posted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 4:05 amYea better uninstall and reinstall then...it looks long and complicated as is atm. I'll wait till there's an easier method...and the bugs have been mostly ironed out. A bit off topic...but could original left 4 dead sound mods be used for this game?
